Common Terms & Conditions
1. General Agreement and Eligibility
- Acceptance: By using the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the Terms and
Conditions (T&C) and any associated policies (Privacy Policy, Return Policy, etc.).
- Contracting Party: You are contracting with Daril lighting Pvt Ltd that owns and operates the
website.
- Minimum Age: Users must typically be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their
jurisdiction to place an order and form a binding contract.
2. Order, Pricing, and Payment
- Offer and Acceptance: The product display on the website is generally not a contractual offer,
but an invitation to offer. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only upon
the company's formal acceptance, usually via an "Order Confirmation" or "Order Dispatch" email.
- Pricing Errors: Prices are subject to change without notice. Companies reserve the right to
correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing mistakes) at any time. If an error is
found, they will typically notify you before dispatching the order, giving you the choice to proceed
with the corrected price or cancel.
- Payment: Payment must often be received by the company at the time the order is placed. The
acceptable methods of payment are provided during checkout.
3. Goods, Warranty, and Liability
- Product Description: Descriptions, illustrations, and images are for illustrative purposes only.
There may be small discrepancies in the actual size, color, or appearance of the goods supplied.

hardware components, which may be extended or subject to specific conditions (e.g., using specific
components, proper installation).
- Limitation of Liability: The company's liability for damages (e.g., direct, indirect,
consequential loss) arising from the use of the website or purchased products is heavily limited or
excluded to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law.
4. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk
- Delivery Time: Dates quoted for delivery are approximate, and the time of delivery is not of the
essence (meaning missing the date does not automatically constitute a breach of contract). The company
is generally not liable for consequential loss due to delivery delays.
- Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage to the products typically passes to the customer (buyer)
upon delivery, or when the products are placed in the possession of the carrier you arranged.
- Damaged/Missing Items: If you receive a visibly damaged product or have missing items, you must
typically notify customer support within a very short timeframe (e.g., 24 to 48 hours) of receiving the
product, often requiring photographic evidence.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation
- Cancellation Policy: Allow cancellation for 24 hours after placing the order.
- Return/Refund Policy: Policies range from accepting returns/replacements only for "Dead on Arrival"
(DOA) or incorrect shipments, to being non-returnable/non-cancellable unless explicitly stated
otherwise.
- Opened Products: Generally, products that have been opened, installed, or have broken seals cannot be
returned.
